The listing, Sunchoke Bulb (1) has ended.
You are bidding on 1 sunchoke bulbs from my organic garden. I have grown these for last 3 years. Plant in soil about 3-4" deep and 6" apart. They grow 3-7' tall with small flowers. Each plant can produce 6-12 chokes. Harvest the chokes in fall after first hard frost, or cut stems down and leave in the ground to harvest during winter months. Save a few to restart your spring crops, or leave them in ground for continual annual crops. Eaten raw or fried but best roasted with garlic and carrots. They taste nutty and sweet. They spread fast. I grow them in containers to keep them from spreading and for easy harvesting. Warning: eating a lot can cause gas issues.
