The listing, Lap Harp has ended.

This is a First Act lap harp. The strings are broken and I've never seen strings for this, but maybe you know where to find them. It's about 11 long by 7 inches high. It's actually quite a nice instrument, but my boys were hard on it.

Done. I needed a better pic anyway. The black strips on the back are a velvet like substance, presumably to keep it from scratching a table or floor. I'm not sure. I don't even remember where we got this one. lol

I don't own a scale, so I can't weigh it. It weighs a little less than a 1 liter bottle of soda. The measurements are in the description. I'll mail it in a box 13.5 in. x 8 in. x 6.5 in. If you want to email me your zip code, I'll just take it to the post office with me next time I go and check the rate.

As I've mentioned, it has a couple of broken strings. You can see that in the pic, too. It looks like 4 broken strings, but it is actually 2 broken strings, each of which wind around.

So while it looks like an 8 stringed instrument, it is actually a 4 stringed instrument- two of which are broken.

As you can see, there's the remains of something written with a Sharpie on the top, which you can't read. I didn't even realize it until Prayn4U2 asked me for more pics.

My great aunt used to play one of these but it was hand made by her the compartment is for guitar picks used to play it.
