Description

The listing, Motorola Droid Smartphone Verizon has ended.

Up for bid is a Motorola droid smartphone. This runs on the Verizon network however I've been using it without a contract on our wifi network to play games and surf the web. This could be used as a cell phone or even as a tablet! There are no cracks or dead pixels on the screen. It includes the original box and pamphlets as well as a wall charger. I believe the model number is A855. From a smoke free and pet free home. Free shipping! I ship on Monday's and Saturday's. Thanks for looking!

It's a Verizon phone. And it is not unlocked. So you can only use it on the Verizon network.

I don't know if you can switch it non contract. I did have a flip phone that was on prepaid that I switched to contract, maybe they can do the opposite as well? Not really sure.

I don't think it does take a sim. I'm pretty sure that no Verizon network phones take sim cards.

It is a CDMA phone which means it runs off the tower signal, a gsm phone is the ones that take sim cards, sprint and Verizon are CDMA and AT&T and t mobile are gsm phones and run off of sim cards, hope that helps

If this was already used then it should already be unlocked shouldn't it???? That was my impression but I* am not a techy so I wouldn't know for sure.
Please see if you can find out about that.
God Bless

Unlocked means being able to use it on any network. Like Verizon, sprint, AT&T etc. I did not unlock this. I'm sure it can be tho.
