Description

The listing, Trims and Lace has ended.

A large assortment of trims and lace. Some crocheted. These are old but in great condition. They came from my Mother's fabric store. I do not like to charge shipping, but I will on this because there is quite a bit. Just exact shipping, I want it to go to a good home and put to good use. Make something pretty! Hopefully I will have pay pay to make it easier. I am new at this and hope to do things right.

I read up on Pay Pal I will not get involved in that, Would rather do it the old fashioned way and trust people! Sorry if I was misleading by saying I would get pay pal. I do not think that is a good place for me to sign on to.

I want to do things right! What I say I do! And I thank everyone how bids on my items, it is hard to turn lose of things! Listia makes it easier because I see people who love them as much as I do. If anyone is not satisfied with my items let me know and I will make it right. My intention is to make people smile. I really am not one here to get credits but find a loving home for my things. I am alot like Maureen O'Hara in the Movie the Last Dance. Walk around giving things away to those who want them. However I am new at this but I have found it very fun! It makes me smile!

Paypal is merely a banking site that allows you to collect and make payments. It is not unreliable or dangerous, and certainly hastens payments. Sometimes it can be unwieldy but once you get accustomed to it, it does serve its purpose. I especially like the merchant tools like shipping labels.

I did get pay pal. Thanks Crazy Cristina! Oh my I do not like new things. But we have to keep up with the times. giggle! I hate to charge for shipping and do not want to over charge one cent. How do I get exact shipping on an item? I understand paypal keeps 3% to use their service but that is ok. I just want to charge exact shipping I pay! Most importantly I want people to enjoy! And love to see what they do with it!

To get exact shipping you will need to total weight of the box and the place it is shipping to (at least the zip code). Once the auction has ended you determine the shipping cost and if someone pays through paypal you can click "create shipping labels" and generate and pay for postage all in one shot. You dont even have to address the box because the label has everything you need. There is no charge for that service, although you still pay the percentage for getting payments through paypal. You can do the same type of transaction through the USPS website and use paypal to pay for the postage on those labels as well. Because this might be heavy, you may want to consider using a flat rate medium priority box. I think the total cost runs $11.35 and if you pay for it online the cost of delivery confirmation is free.

Thank you so much you are kind. However do I take it to the PO and get exact shipping and then send the cost? I do have paypal now. I sent a small box today from the PO and it cost 7.00. This is really heavy. Going to the PO we stand in a line up to an hour each time. I love Listia but this is it is fun. It should not be stressful to make sure one does things right. Thanks!

That I do not know Dsign2gether. I imagine it will be more than that. I have to take it to the post office to be weighed and measured, It is a large box and I do not intend to make money on shipping, just exact. Plus the PO has different rates depending on where it it shipped to. Means I have to make 2 trips to the PO to get exact shipping, come home, await payment for shipping then go back and send it. Thank you for your question. Hope I answered your question.

looked up the price for shipping, the size of the box is 16x13x12 weight 10 lbs. Depending on where it goes may cost 12-15 dollars. Hopes this help!

if the winner notifies me as soon as this auction is over, i can look up the exact shipping charge and it can be paid through Palpay and you will get it sooner!
