For thin doilies, you would need a hook that is smaller than this. I would say that this is a very average size for making a hat, scarf, or something like that.

i am fairly sure anyone bidding will know it is the letter I then 9 not the number 19
you might want to update that fact. i was hoping it was a G hook.
