The listing, Antique vintage ewer/vase has ended.

This is a beautiful ewer in great condition for it's age 1880-1900's there is a gorgeous scene of sailing ships on the river with a little house on an island and mountains in the distance the handle is gorgeous it has a cherub on the handle and under the spout and is just wonderful to look at!

Is this ceramic, porcelain or glass? And what is the metal on the base and spout? How did you determine it's era (age)? Sorry so many questions but the answers will determine how much Im willing to bid. Thank you, fanned and watching closely!

The first pic looks bright and brassy. Was this item recently polished, removing the patina?

I am not selling this on the other site since i listed it here...never got a response listed it there for an appraisal and never got feedback... I have not polished this ewer it comes with the original dust lol since i don't want to risk damaging it no cracks on the glass at all the only where is a little minor bit of ware on the very edge of the base where the gold polish has faded where it meets the table...as i said earlier i'm not exactly sure about what type of glass or anything but it is a very pretty vase/ewer
