Up for auction is a silver iPod Nano 2GB. It works great!! I don't have a charger or ear buds to spare with it though, and I'm not sure what generation it is either. This was my daughters, and she now has an iPhone with no use for this anymore. As always I offer free shipping!! Happy bidding :)

If this's a 1st generation then you can return this to Apple and they'll send you a newer version of a nano touchscreen free of charge. There's something in these 1st gen players that heats the battery and can explode.

Yes I've heard that before but I'm pretty sure it's not first gen.... It's only like a year old :) but thanks so much wish I knew how to tell though

I weren't even sure if mine was 1st gen- I just visited thee Apple site & read about it, looked at my ipod nano and it looked thee same so i filled out this thing on their site and thee next day- some delivery person came and grabbed it and a week ltr, got myself a new one =D You can still try- if it isn't one they're looking for, they will send it back to you. You pay nothing ..

It appears to be a Second Generation.

There were no silver 1st Generation Nano iPods. They were either black, or white.

Black or white front, with a silver metal back was the first generation. Second generation had a silver front.
