I can't say for sure--not even sure why I bought them, really--but I would guess from the looks of them that they are for making straps for a purse or other type of bag...you could put a "belt" of fabric through the wide part and the strap would be able to swivel. I have no idea. Sorry. I don't know what backpack jewelry is, but these seem a bit heavy for that. I think they are for creating purse straps. :)

It closed for so few credits that no, I won't ever make one again. It was absolutely depressing---I probably would have gotten more for the pile of supplies I made it with! :(

It did go for really low credits. Would you consider making one for a set GIN price for me? I really love it and want to get it for my grandmother for Christmas. She loves John Wayne.

I apologize but I will not be recreating it. It hurt me really badly that I spent hours of my time, several dollars in materials, several dollars in postage and I ended up with the Listia equivalent of $1 for all that. I just can't go there again. Sorry.

Thanks for your kindness. It was a really sad thing for me. I did not expect it to go up a lot more, but I felt really sad about how poorly received it was...I guess I am letting it affect me too much but I am really attached to my work and 1010 credits was a slap in the face that hurt my confidence as a jewelry maker. I wish I had never even made it. :(
