This Ceylonese recipe for mulligatawny soup is out of this world. Nothing the soup nazi ever made could possibly compare. For the uninitiated (and I actually was one myself until my 30's), mulligatawny soup is a dish of Anglo-Indian origin, which means it is a fusion of English and Indian flavors. This particular version comes from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and thus accentuates the sweeter flavors of that region..

Still, it hasn't sold well so it will be "retired" after this auction.

You can always play with it, but here are the ingredients:

onions, carrots, celery, tomatoes, garlic, chicken/chicken stock, rice, chickpeas, yogurt, curry powder, coriander, cumin, ginger, cinnamon, pepper, butter
