It's a Windows Pocket PC PDA with 802.11 compliant WiFi and Bluetoothe capabilities. It is not a Windows Phone or a Phone of any kind. It is Internet capable it has a Mic and Speakers it can be used to play music, play games, The Keyboard makes it easier to search the web or send messages.

I have a lot of music mp3 files and I'd love to use it when I can't use my computer. I want to connect to a WiFi connection in my living room so I can do my facebooking and stuff. Does it work good for doing those things?

Playing Mp3's only through the headphone jack or bluetooth headset or speakers it will not play media through the built in speaker. As long as your WiFi is 802.11b compliant, you should have no trouble accessing your network or getting on the internet. Max SD card size is 2GB so your looking at about 85 to 100 songs per SD Card. Mostly this Pocket Pc is used to keep your appointments, has built in alarms, multiple time zones. I have never tried to Facebook with this so I can't answer you there. I have ordered Pizza from Pizza hut on it though.

There is no app store but you can install games and programs from the web through your computer using activesink.

? do you happen to know the SD card slot size " SDHC SDXC " both sites i found list as SD slot, no spec on card type.

Max SD card Size for this PDA is 1GB It comes with a 256mb I have tried larger HC ones but they don't read.
