I was told that it was Murano by the lady that give it to me to list but I don't know how to verify this. Can you shed some light on how a true Murano is identified or marked? Either way it really is a very pretty piece and it's heavy like glass, not light like plastic.

I just read about it. Watch out for small bubbles in the glass colors shouldn't be murky no rough sides. Go to google type in HOW TO FIND AUTHENTIC MURANO GLASS FROM FAKE. they had good info. I think yours is real!

Thanks for checking. After your question I changed the description to "Murano Style" just in case. Don't want to misrepresent this item. It's better that the winner receive a "TRUE" Murano that's advertised as "Murano Style" then to receive a "Murano Style" advertised as TRUE Morano.
