It is a fabulous darling plant . . . unfortunately it is much colder in my house at night during the winter than it gets outside where you live! But it is fabulous and someone is going to love it!

They are Golden Torch--and I do have an auction for them up, but I don't think anyone is going to go for it, because the shipping is too expensive.

Is that what they're called? I have one and had no idea what they were. They're so cute and sort of "soft" for a cactus. I love em.

It' a relative of the huge columnar cactus that grow 10 feet tall and bloom at nite with 8-inch white flowers. I love this little variety too--and the name is perfect, don't you think?

Looking for info on this one--unfortunately looks like it might not be cold hardy for me . . .

I live in a warm climate, so IDK about that. Most folks I know move plants indoors or to a sheltered place for the winter. This one is small enough to make that easy--- the one in the pic is a foot tall.

how long did it take you to get it this big and how many pieces did you start out with. I think this looks really cool.
