***What you get with the STARTING BID is a used iPod video 5th generation 60gb! I won this here on Listia and have since gotten a new mp3 player. Therefore, I don't need this anymore, and haven't messed around with this iPod to try and fix it or take it to the Apple store.
What I know about this iPod is from the following info that was in the description of the original seller's auction:

The item is sold as is. It has scratches from being left in the drawer for long time with other things.
PLEASE NOTE:
The item was in working condition.. until I tried updating a software and that screen (shown in photo) popped up. I'm not really software savvy and didn’t know what to do so I bought a new ipod and havent used it since.
I cannot guarantee that it's going to be a working ipod.. but charging works fine.. it turns on fine.. In my opinion i think its a software problem.
Again.. it worked fined until i plugged it into the computer to update. That screen did not show up because i dropped the ipod or anything.
Please bid with caution. I honestly don't know what I did wrong. But i'm sure it's fixable Item. Sold as is, without usb charger.
