Description

The listing, Fimo Canes & lots of em! TIERED AUCTION! :D has ended.

This is my first *Tiered Auction*!
I had one listed before but it got taken down temporarily.. but that issue has been solved and now it is good to go! :D

I have about 90 canes total (give or take a few)
The bidding will start at 150 for 1 cane.
Another cane will be added every 150 credits that are bid. SO:
150 creds= 1 cane
300= 2
450= 3
600= 4.. and so on..

BUT! AS A BONUS: You will get an extra cane for every 1000 credits bid, so once it hits 1k, you get 1 on top of what you are already getting, 2k=2 more canes, 3k=3 more.. and so on.

1050 creds=7 canes (+1)
2100=14 (+2)
3000=20 (+3)
4050=27 (+4)

IT WILL BE WINNER'S CHOICE!!!

So is it like raised once you put on your nail then you secure with the top coat?

So yes if you mean raised like 3D, puffy.. I use a dot of clear nail polish to put it on then yes do a top coat.. Preferably a thick one and that should secure it. :) I will hopefully put a pic of an example later!

Great :D I use an X-Acto craft knife.. I've used it for so many other things that I don't always get smooth perfect slices either :/ I would definitely say the an normal razor should work too..

I need razors!! That's going to be my next investment :) I also only slice what I need/want at the time, sometimes I slice a lil extra. I have seen some amazing jewelry made with these as well! So beautiful! I'm def going to try that sometime too.

never seen these before, What exactly are they and for?

They are canes made from fimo clay that you slice into tiny slices that you use to decorate all kinds of things! The most common use for these is nail art. You can put these on your nails with nail glue or just a lil dab of clear nail polish to put it on, then put a top cost to secure it. There are all kinds of designs out there, really anything you can think of. I do some people use them to make cute lil Kawaii jewelry or decoder style phone cases and stuff like that. They can be used for many other things, just use your imagination! :D

Great auction!!! Are you willing to sell some? I'm asking because my order is delayed in customs right now and I've got a salon client who is waiting for very specific canes I see 4 of them in your mix. Private message me if you are willing. Either way, I'll be bidding.

If I get them could you slice them for me?
Aug 25th, 2012 at 8:59:39 AM PDT by

Honestly I'm not that good at slicing them myself.. And it is very time consuming/a lot of work. If you didn't get that many i would maybe do it but if you got a lot I think I would want a lot more credits for all the work.. :/ sorry!

Thanks! :) I think they're fun and a cute way to change up your nail art.. I use an X-Acto knife but you can also use a razor!

Also, sorry I was unable to post the example pic of what I did with my nails and fimo.. all I really did is use the solid blue nail polish strips as my base polish, put a dab of clear nail polish and one fimo bow on the ring finger of both my hands. Then, when that was dry I put a nice solid top coat over both nails!
