F & W. I'd bid straight up, but only have one credit right now. Been bz with a ton of auctions. I love this auction you are having right now. I hope you get your asking bid, and lots more! Your plants are very healthy; and beautiful! I have some auctions going too, so hopefully, it won't be long before my credits build back up some.=))) I hope to bid before your auction is over. I would love to have some of your plants. =D

I had to do some research, to see if I was right. Your Purple Heart has several names, including: Purple Heart, Purple Queen, Wandering Jew, Moses' Boat, Moses in the Cradle, Moses' Cradle, and probably more. It also seems to grow heartily almost anywhere. It has also been described as 'invasive'; so, unless you want this wonderful groundcover to take over, DON'T plant it near where you don't want it to go bc it will take over. I've also read, it's very difficult to get rid of as a pest bc it breaks easily, and has lots of roots; and can grow easily even if it's accidentally dropped somewhere. Be careful with it. To me, it's a lovely plant, and will flower with a tiny pink flower in the middle of the two leaves.

Oh yes, the first 'pregnant onion' that you show, a long time ago, a friend had the same identical plant and she called it a 'ponytail' plant. LOL She was a hairdresser. =D Anyway, have fun with your auction. -EJ =D

Thanks for all the info!! I grow the Purple heart in pots anyways, But the frost would kill it off here in the cold north, so we never have any issues with it being invasive.

@Christainsoldier I dont typically list plant bythemselves, I figure it is more economical and fun to group together!

It's a perrenial, and it dies back to the ground during the winter, and comes back by early springtime. I live in the south, but the cold and frost here makes it die back to the ground here, too. But, it always comes back. Vigorously, too! =D

Either way, It does well in pots one could even keep it in doors aswell... It gets super cold here too like -20C or 0 F, I had a differnt wandering jew out and it dident survive winter, though it does survive some frost.
