I can't believe it's this time of year already. Back to school supplies are coming out and filling the stores. If your local schools are like those here...it seems like you have to buy enough to supply the entire class for the year. This listing is a great place to start. What you see is what you get. Everything is new and unopened / unused and ships free anywhere in the US. This lot will be shipped in a medium flat rate priority box and includes the following:

Thank You. I know when my daughter first started school, I couldn't believe how much our kids needed for school these days. It just seems to be that they are needing more and more every year and it gets rather costly.

Well, you can copy and paste the text I wrote about donorschoice.org to use in your listings if you want, or put your own spin on it! I donated to my sister's project (she is in New Hamsphire) but the schools we attend in Des Moines, IA, don't have any projects on there. So I e-mailed all the teachers and admins I had in my address book. Maybe they will get interested and post a few projects. I'll have to keep my eye on it. I'm sure a lot of teachers have never heard of it ... would be helpful for parents like us to try to get the word out to them!

Currently my area is having drives to get school supplies for our local schools in need. I start locally first.

Wow, this would make a GREAT gift for a school teacher too. They always need basic supplies ... and end up buying a lot of them themselves! Check out this link: donorschoose.org. Teachers post supplies that they need and you can donate as much as you want. If the project gets all the funding it needs, the teacher gets to buy the supplies for his/her classroom. It's a GREAT web site, my teacher sister told me about it ... she has had LOTS of nice supplies funded for her computer classroom.

I donated on that site last year and still have it set in my favorites, lol. I found out about it on wishuponahero and passed the link to my daughters teacher. He was able to raise over $3000 for new computers and library books last year. Amazing site!
