i dont know what crystal cubes are--this is a mug to drink from and to wash it the base snaps off because that is where the LED lights and batteries are housed and they cant be immersed--does that help?

i suppose when you take the mug part off -you could put something else on it if it fits-because the mug doesnt have anything to do with making the lights flash--it is all done through the LED and batteries in the base--you sound like you have a great idea for this

yes, ive been wanting one of these for ALONG LONG TIME. if its what im thinking it is, go to ebay and look up crystal cube and you will see what im talking about if i can put that onto the light base..

well i went on ebay and those crystal cubes look gorgeous--i guess you'd have to glue them on and make a sculpture type thing using several cubes --is that what you would do?
