"PINS AND BUTTONS" and a 1960's beauty queen.

Here is a sweet little wooden box with an applique on top that states "Pins and Buttons" and a girl doing something to her hair. Maybe pinning it up??

I think it is cedar but it doesn't have that cedar smell...maybe just because it's old. Could be pine that has aged over the years. It does show some vintage wear on the outside but looks almost new inside. Could be cleaned up easily with a little Old English Scratch Cover or just left as found.

Measurements are 5 3/8 inches wide, 2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches deep.
