Along the way, he meets a too-good-to-be-true nurse, Anika (Liv Tyler), and begins coaching his niece's hapless basketball squad. I loved the movie and found Affleck's character shockingly dry and simplistic in outlook (almost like someone who society has made as deserving to have low expectations).
