The listing, Vintage Cast Iron Match Toothpick Holder Christopher Columbus Head has ended.

Here is a Vintage Cast Iron match holder, or could be used as a toothpick holder, you decide!

It is of Christopher Columbus's head, and would nail or screw to the wall. It has nail holes at the top & bottom by which it would be hung.

It is marked on the back as follows:
"LB 17" "Iron Art 2"

This a great collectors piece

I can't say exactly how old it is, I know it is more than 20 years old, because it came from an old cabin that my Grandfather owned. When I asked him if he knew how old it was he couldn't recall either, but we do know that it hung in his cabin and he used it for the 20 years that he had the cabin as a mtach holder above the burn stove. That's why I put "Vintage" not "Antique", because any item more than 10 years old is considered "Vintage" anything 25 years or older is considered "Antique". Thanks for your question :)
