The listing, Carved Metal Chinese Snuff Bottle has ended.

This is just the most stunning snuff bottle ever !!

Xuande (1426-1435) reign mark.. Although it is certainly not that old, but almost postive this is a nice 100 year old bottle for sure.. !

The Xuande mark is said to have been written by the famous calligrapher Shendu, since the official mark of Xuande is following his hand writing.

I SAW ONE ON A WEB SITE THAT LOOKED JUST LIKE THIS ONE WITH A STOPPER. THEY SAID Xuande (1426-1435) reign mark carved into the base, it's true age is estimated 1870 to early 1900's. they people talking said it is a very nice
bottle.

Yes, it did come with a stopper, but it does not fit, and really not a match for this bottle.. The previous owner must have just grabed one off some other bottle.. It really does not look very nice, and the spoon is just way to short for this bottle..
Also.. Yes, the one you saw, must be this bottle.. Was it on the Snuff Bottle Discussion forum at http://snuffbottle.smfforfree.com/index.php/topic,931.0.html
