Thanks, it's funny with Spike cause at first we thought he was a girl and we had been calling him Miss Kitty, I returned from a 2 1/2 day business trip Sunday afternoon and went to crash on the couch, I got a good look under Spikes tail while he and Miss Rascal his adoptive mom were wrestling when I'd like to have been napping and realized he didn't look like a girl anymore! Had that happen with one other cat that we could never get a good look under the tail for several weeks. At least with OJ (short for Orange Juice) the name could go for boy or girl.
We tend to take in whatever strays come around needing a good home and lots of love. Spike is finally starting to outgrow wanting to suck on fingers and my face, instead he wants to chew on everything.

That sounds like my girl kitty "Baby"(in profile pic), whenever she sees food (no matter what it is) she stares with begging eyes and if you turn your back she tries to sample and smell everything.!!!

Never had a cat so insistent on sampling everything! He loves Mom's Visalus protein shakes cause she puts fruit and yogurt in hers, I'm loving the candy bar flavors right now. Thankfully Spike's not big enough to get onto the counters yet. He hates it though when it's bath time, he's a little too young to put flea treatment on so we give him a bath in Dawn detergent 3 times a week to cut down on the number of fleas.
