FREE: Vintage 1940's? Glasses with Case!

This is a pair of vintage eyeglasses with the case. I am guessing they are from the 1940's or earlier.

The glasses themselves have pretty thick lenses and the ear pieces that are bendable that kind of loops around the ears. They lenses are pretty dirty but I am not going to clean them for fear of scratching or messing them up.

I do not expect someone to get these and actually wear them but more of a collector item.

This is the original case that comes with it. It The label inside is from the eye doctor. It says " Bausch & Lomb Optical Co." and the person's name under " J.E. Price." and under that it says 'Be wise...protect your eyes"

The case and inside of the case do show some age. They are scuffed up, These were someone's glasses in the 1940's so you can not expect to have pristine after 70 years!
