I own & operate a small Non-profit bird rescue here in TX. And over the years I have collected a huge amount of feathers. These feathers are great for artist & crafts. I've even used them in decor like flower arrangements & had feathers in my wedding ^_^

For each 10 credits bid I will add another feather
So 10 credits=1 feather
20=2 feathers & so on
In some cases 10 credits might equal 2 small matching feathers (or at least as matching as I can get them)

This is a GRAB BAG so feathers are 100% random. If you make things like jewelry and need smaller matching feathers let me know.

Feathers could be:
Amazon Parrot
African Grey Parrot
Lovebirds
Macaw
Conures (Sun, green cheeked & others)
Quaker Parrot

Feathers could be tail feathers, smaller body feathers or wing feathers.

All feathers are 100% natural shed by the birds at the rescue, so no animals are harmed.

Thanks! yeah I understand that some bird feathers are not legal to sale (native species & endangered species) It's only feathers from "common" bird birds here at out bird rescue. I did include macaw feathers as a type but it's from blue & golds only nothing like hyacinth macaw or other endangered birds.

I can only imagine how much collecting it would take to fill a down pillow.
I do eat meat, but only from cage free animals. If I find out a place has any animal abuse issues I stop eating from there. It's only because I despise veggies YUCK
We have an umbrella cockatoo but she doesnt drop that many feathers. When she does she usually poops on them before we can do anything but throw them away lol

lol yeah if you don't like veggies it would be hard to be a vegetarian ^_^ I get my protein from TVP, tofu, & others stuff like that. I've been a vegetarian for about 3 years & off & on in the past.

Currently at the rescue we have 15 birds so there are always feathers everywhere

Thanks for offering these. I have a friend Cash W. from Canton who has a farm full of exotics... last time there, he allowed me to pick up the strays the birds had shed. Could we request smaller feathers? I do cards and like to do small ones tucked in specific cards? Thanks for offering such a unique item on listia! This site ROCKS!
