Description

The listing, California State Automobile Association memorabilia has ended.

Lot of CSAA memorabilia metal symbols of AAA logo given to members who have been with AAA a long time. Note pad from call center where calls were taken before computers entered the scene,a rubber hammer with AAA logo on it. Usually called a stress relief toy given to employees to help deal with the stress of locating drivers and getting to the customer. I have two other stress toys that didn't make it. One was torn in half. The other I took a bite out of trying to keep my mouth shut. There is also a AAA belt buckle given to drivers as a reward for excellent service. The little key chain that looks like a tire is actually a tape measure. Given out as a promotion for the new tire service AAA offered. It was discontinued, but this little tape measure works and could be handy, but I never took it out of display case. Last but not least we have a matchbox replica of the car AAA sponsored at NASCAR racing.
These are all part of a larger collection that my husband & I have from the 25 years he and I either worked for or with the company. CSAA OR California State Automobile Association is no longer around, they merged with several other states and moved their call center to Arizona. So if you call for road service and the operator seems to be confused. Just remember. They don't have our traffic or crazy drivers there. Its all flat and serene there. No road rage I hear.

I know there are other people out there that collect AAA stuff besides me. I am not the only person crazy enough to pay $45 for a sign that hung in front of a contract station. I even have a set of cufflinks and tie pin from Japanese AAA. JAPAN AUTO ASSOCIATION.
