well there is no real way to tell xbox 360 hard drives were made for several years and are prob still being made and not to mention it could of sat on the store selves for who knows how long but ive had the hard drive for a little while now maybe 2 years.

First off no this doesn't work with Slims, and second off they no longer manufacture the original 360 consoles, so at least 3 years old for the item

Yea we weren't exactly sure because we bought it from someone else. It was lightly used when we got it so it still works perfectly and we didn't really use it.
