FREE: Vintage 50c US Stamp with Benjamin Franklin

Here's an old US stamp-- it's a 50c violet with Benjamin Franklin, I think it is Scott number 517 from 1917, so almost 100 years old. It is in used condition with what seems like a pretty modest postmark for an old stamp. It has a natural sheet edge at right, and the perforations are good-- the ones at left have cancel ink on them. 50 cents was a lot of money in 1917, so this is probably (relatively speaking) a "high value" stamp.

Here's the bigger scoop: Both my parents passed away in the last 3 years, and they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad collected stamps, and this is from his collection.
