oh I'm sorry I must have not put that pic up .
Yes a zippered pocket on one side, and he double open
pocket on the other side.
and the pocket on the front : )

Does the front pocket have an opening of 5 1/2" or larger (to slide a phone into)?

front pocket from seam to seam is about 7 1/2 inches long.
the thickness is about 1 in. wide.
So I would say it could hold a 51/2 long phone comfortably . : )
