It's not very hard to have a fake game. There are lots of them on ebay and Amazon. Some people don't even realize they have fakes because they almost look legit, but once the battery inside dies, they lose the ability to save. Real gba games don't have batteries (except for pokemon which has one to save time and not game saves). If you want proof go here:

I was at game stop the other day and they had these big boxes out to advertise the HeartGold version and I picked one up and took it to the guy and asked him why it can in such a big box): i felt like the dumbest person ever):

I'm not trying to harass you. Those are the three parts to look for to make sure a gba game is legit. You didn't have to post all of them but what you posted is fine. I have had two trades in a row go sour from new users who had positive buyers feedback and no seller feedback, so excuse me for being paranoid.

You know there is something in the world called trust.
You should look into it.

Could you please post a picture of this with a piece of paper that says your username on it? I just want to make sure because pokemon gba games are very heavily pirated. If you can take the pictures, make sure you take a pic of the front label, the back, and see if you can get a picture of the writing on the circuit board by the pins which should say Nintendo, Model # and year.

Hey, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but it looks like that is a fake pokemon game. The label for Pokemon Emerald is supposed to be shiny metallic.

Not sure how or why but i have two of these buy are awesome, (especially the pokemon clone glitch. If you have never played, i definatly recomend
