1 of 13 "Hero Combat" stamps issued at the request (or orders) of the Auskunftei (information agency). It was issued for Heldengedenktag 1944 ( Memory of Heroes Day) Known as a propaganda printing.
Grossdeutches Reich (Greater German Empire) replaced Deutches Reich in 1944 only to be used for one year till the end of the Third Reich.
