The listing, Tea Pot has ended.
Tea pot from mackinaw city mich. it appears older has crazing an a chip on spout I took picture of it also see a smaller one near top by spout , I think husband bought for me at auction but I only collect miniature tea sets
How's the condition inside the pot? Could a person pour some hot water and tea bags into this tea pot and actually use it to serve tea? Also, how high is it? Any ideas how many cups of tea it will serve? Thanks! f&w
Will check an get back to you, it is old an it has two chips which I took pictures of, I'm not sure if it would hold up to everyday use I'd say it's from the 70 s or early 80 s Ok it's 6 an three fourths inches tall, it holds 3 cups of water, the inside of the pot looks stained an it has a hairline crack about 1 inch on the inside, it did not leak, but I never used this I collect mini tea sets so I just stuck this in a cupboard, it's very pretty an is more for decoration I think
Just a clarification. Mackinaw City is at the tip upper tip of Lower Michigan just at the southern end of the bridge. Not a big deal....just to clarify NICE PIECE
Thanks, guess I knew that, just always called it the upper peninsula cause once you cross that brige your in the up, FYI we in the lower peninsula are called trolls cause we live under the bridge, we call the people above the bridge yoopers , the yoopers really consider the upper peninsula a different state. Yoopers really consider themselves more a part of Wisconsin than mich., they root for green bay, guess its because they are much closer to wisconsin
Yes it's a different culture all right, I lived there for one year I loved the beauty of it,but hated the 6 hour drive to visit all my family in lower mi, I lived right off us 2 in Gladstone, if I had to come to lower mi for an emergency I would take the high speed ferry into Muskegon mi, not the badger that goes to laudington that one is nearly a 5 hour ride, can't think what the high speed one is called at the moment but it only took 1.5 hours an then a 45 min car drive an I was back to my family home.,
Lived outside of Marquette..............spent some time in Big Rapids (Lower). Now in Wisconsin. (After about 4 other states in between) And bidding on "your" item. (:
An I thank you! I lived in bitely growing up which is close to big rapids, when I lived in Gladstone we usually went to green bay to do shopping or important things, the place I really liked living was kenai Alaska, loved it there but talk about far from family! Was over a 4,000 mile drive!
I have visited az but it was to hot for me, always wanted to visit Tn an Ga but haven't yet, kinda liked Missouri, but it also is to far from my kids an Mi is not so bad you get a little bit of everything, I'm in western mi near lake mi so we visit the beach a lot!
