This is a little over 30". The black pieces are magnets and when they are together, they grab on to other very well. Simply lay the strands beside each other. You can see in the pics that whenever two strands are close, they grab on to each other. It makes a very nice 3 or 4 strand bracelet or a one or two strand necklace. A fun piece to wear. This one has never been used, I have others that I wear.
