Speaking of elephants, a white elephant gift is usually considered something you don't really want and it is unusual. The reason behind this is...in India, elephants are sacred and revered. So you cannot use one to do work as you would any other elephant. And they must be taken care of very specially because of this. So when you receive a white elephant as a gift it can really be quite a burden.

Silver Elephant with 2 long wooden beads on a black cord with a lobster clasp with a 2" extender chain. Elephant is an inch across, the blue beads are 1 1/2" long and the cord is 16 1/2".
