Spacemaster cucumber is a very compact plant that produces excellent yields of green cucumbers in a small space. Great for small gardens with limited space.
Produces 7-8" delicious cucumbers even though the vines are so small. It is almost a daily ritual to keep them picked, since they grow rapidly.
Spacemaster has short, easy to manage 2'-3' vines. Perfect for whiskey/wine barrels or hanging baskets for those short on space. It is resistant to scab and mosaic virus.
Soak seeds overnight before planting either individually in rows or hills of 3-6 seeds each. Tighter spacing and higher yields can be achieved through trellising the plants on fences or poles. Continually harvesting will keep the plant producing . Heirloom seeds are hardy but always take care with your garden seeds to give them the appropriate amount of moisture - not letting the vegetable seeds dry out prematurely or overwatering and possibly having them rot.
