Description

The listing, Bumbo Baby Seat- Pre-owned- PLEASE READ has ended.

It's been brought to my attention that this needs a recall kit, IF you WIN this you will need to get the FREE kit for it.

This is a like new Purple Bumbo Seat AND Tray, normally sold seperate., like the one in LISTIA REWARDS but you Get BOTH for price of the tray in shipping fees. What a great deal, 2 for the price of 1. posting PO site page to show the shipping fees, I always use 90210 as the destination and since the box is larger than 12" the PO charges a balloon charge...ASK THEM.

So this will be more than the fee I'm asking, I'll pay the difference.

The Bumbo Baby Seat was invented by a design engineer grandpa to seat young babies who can't sit up by themselves yet. As soon as your baby can support their own head you can seat them in the Bumbo Seat. The seat has many technical design features that supports the babies posture allowing them to interact with their surroundings.

The Bumbo Baby Seat has received many awards from around the world for its effective and functional design but be aware of copy products that lack some important features.

How Bumbo's Baby Seat Works

"The seat stabilizes the child into slight hip flexion, placing the pelvis in a slight anterior pelvic tilt which facilitates lumbar extension. This action, combined with the gentle curve of the seat back that matches the natural curve of the rib cage, facilitates the baby around the lower ribs and trunk for stabilization. The Seat allows for active practice of the head and postural trunk control. It also allows a child the pelvic stability needed to get the hands into the midline for play. Upright positioning facilitates an improved visual field of the environment, improved respirations and breath control, assists a baby who needs to be upright after feeding due to reflux and many other benefits."

That is a great auction!! And the recall is not because of the chair but because of irresponsible parents who don't know how to use it safely = ] F&W!!!

the recall kit is FREE there is no need to purchase anything the winner of the auction can simply go to http://www.recall.bumbousa.com/ and order one for free. and its technically not a total recall there were just some saftey issues that the bumbo company decided to address

Thanks, much appreciated. IF they bothered to research and realize Sometimes people want to GIVE AWAY things but Can't Always pay (free shipping) to give it to them even though they PAID for the item themselves...then maybe they'd just bid or move on. I mean this is the BEST site I've seen yet where you can either get stuff totally free or for a Fraction of the cost and Most times in LIKE NEW or NEW condition. fanning you

I didn't know about the recall. I agree it is just stupid parents that are the issue though. I hope your auction does better then mine I had on here a year or so ago for a blue one. I only charged the person $7 for shipping and the bids went no where. I think a lot of people on here don't realize how much these actually cost. Looks like that may have changed at least a little since I auctioned mine though.

I agree with you! It is ridiculous to hear that babies are FRACTURING their heads because they managed to get out of the bumbo seat! I understand we cannot watch our kids every second and that sometimes we need a bite to eat and use the bathroom. However! If you are going to leave your baby for two minutes unattended at least think first and put the bumbo on the floor were there is carpet! I do not believe that a baby seating on the floor on a bumbo if for some reason managed to get out he/she would fractured his head. Babies who had this horrible accidents had to be because their parents had them on very high surfaces such as tables and counters with NO supervision for that to happen!

On another note
I just order my repair kit and THEY ARE FREE!!! So bid on this awesome auction because it is a steal!!!!

Just wanted to say these seats are amazing! My daughter had this exact one with the tray and we used it for her to play in AND when we fed her, instead of dragging out the high chair yet. I think your GIN is excellent and surely will be used. These retail for about $50 I believe with the tray. Great auction!

I don't need one of these but I purchased a used one for our church nursery. I got it on Craigslist and it cost me $20 used. This is an absolute steal! I must say that I am stunned by the stupidity of some of our fellow Listians. People are so lazy and refuse to research themselves and/or read the prior comments, so there are repeated negative comments about the recall. It is a recommended recall not a mandatory one and only one person really needed to post about the recall. This auction is NOT against Listia's rules. If you notice though, most of those comments are made by new Listians. Take the time to read folks! I posted this here because lazy people will see this lower down the line and hopefully will read it... yeah right :D. Anyway, GREAT auction! I hope it goes for a lot. Having it featured should greatly help! Be blessed!

This is a great auction! Keeping my eye on it. The only reason there is a recall on these are because of bad parenting. When you child is old enough to push their way up out of it, then they are prolly to big for it. This is is a devise to help infants with their sitting skills. Not a babysitter! Good luck with your auction! It is deff good one!

hi no I don't I didn't know there was a recall kit. I am GIVING this away NOT SELLING it so the winner will need to purchase a kit which I'm Sure it won't cost as much as the seat and tray does, so it's still a great deal. thanks for informing me, I put the information in the FIRST part of the ad

the part that bumbo ends you is just to add a restraint belt...I dont know if you can still sell or not...but if someone wants to bid after all these comments about the recall that is their own perogative...It has been stated and walmart is still selling them without the restraint belt...It is not a MANDATORY RECALL...

I came across this item & saw all the comments.... I have used Bumbo seats on both my children. They were used on a floor & with me watching them. If you go to the website (www.http://recall.bumbousa.com/) you can read that it is not a mandatory recall. Most of the stories I read (to find out more info) were people who were not using it properly. Placing it on couches or leaving the child alone. Figures. The warnings are in the booklet! I normally don't comment much, but this seemed to annoy me greatly. I was glad to see some common sense people's replies. CeciCatache & DaigieBagel818 Good show!! To the rest.... you may want to get facts straight before getting all high and mighty. The free kit (if you choose to) comes with a new warning sticker (for bottom) & a restraint belt. If you use this seat properly... you don't need it.
