This is a hand-embellished *Imitation* eagle feather, (meaning that it is really a turkey wing feather, painted to resemble an eagle feather). The Eagle symbolizes the sky spirit,the wind and the air. This feather is enhanced with parrot feathers l and coyote fur. It is wrapped with an orange felt strip and leather. It has a beautiful, southwestern design ceramic bead hanging on leather lacing. It has a loop so it can be hung on the wall.
I made this with 'good medicine' for you and it will be a pleasing tool for you to waft your prayers towards the heavens! The feather is 13" long.
