The listing, 1947 India stamps MNH--the first/only 1947 stamps after independence, Scott #s 200-202, Est. CV $14 has ended.

Up for GIN are the first three stamps of India after complete independence in November 1947. They are the only three stamps produced by independent India in 1947 (it was late in the year). They represent the national flag, the national emblem- the Lion of Ashtoka, and an aircraft. All three stamps are mint never hinged with very fine to extra fine centering.
