The handle is hand wrapped in buff color and brown felt, tied with leather lacing and it has a loop to hang on the wall.The owl is for seeing, watching, wisdom and patience.The turtle sheild represents wisdom and experience, longevity in life and relations, perseverence, shelter and protection. Thanks so much! I am glad that you like it! The turtle shield is made from white birch bark. It's great that I can use things that are laying around. The bark is from trees that are already down. I almost always find a feather of some kind and so much other great stuff to use in this crafting! Autumn is here, so I will be doing a lot of gathering to stay busy this winter!
