The listing, Feathers for Fly Tying has ended.

These are feathers from my Yellow-headed amazon parrot. She is still alive. From her yearly molting I gather the feathers up and use them for tying flies for fishing.

Lately I've just been tying buggers. What patterns would these be good for?

Oh wow, well, there are quite a few...... variations of the trout flies like the coachman,wickhan, and dodger. Then there are some salmon flies like a midnight lime.

the colors vary in each pack, but mainly they run black to green, yellow, blue, and red. With natural blending between the colors.
