Yes they do, I cut them off before I ship them, LOL so the postman or woman don't end up with them in there hands. ant I sweet. :)

lol! I know you said it can withstand winters but I live in Northern Minnesota (zone 3-4) & iv never heard of ANY cactus able to survive here. can this one?!! or would I have to bring it indoors through our harsh winter months? or can it grow as a house plant?!! Thanx again for your time & patients! =•)
