The listing, US Army Sterling Silver 925 CIB Combat Infantryman Badge Infantry Blue has ended.

The CIB is awarded to infantrymen who return fire under hostile fire. Nowadays you can also get them for a few other reasons. This one is sterling silver and would be for the army dress uniform. I am told its from WWII era and it's in excellent condition. The enamel is very crisp and bright. As a proud CIB recipient I hope this can go to a great home. I have so much army stuff that passing some along on listia is a fun way to get rid of some to a collector or veteran. Free shipping and please ask any questions you have.

A sharpshooter award can be earned by anyone in the army who shoots sharpshooter during qualification. This is a CIB , which I am 100% certain of as I said because I earned one in Iraq. Sharpshooter award is a garrison award, this is a combat award. You should be very proud of your father. Thanks
