Thiss is a Halloween LED lighted candle that changes colors as it "glows". Changes several different colors as shown in above photos. As you can see the "candle" does work. It comes with batters. The "wick" looks like it is flickering. Fan me and I will fan back. Thank you and God Bless! The candle is 5 1/2" tall and 4" across. It is nice size.

What kind of batteries does it take?

It has batteries with it. But I think it said either AA or AAA. It came with the batteries, but they are replaceable. Nice candle for Halloween. I have 4 of them myself.
