I Spy Quilt for a Boy. Firemen Heroes border fabric. All cotton fabrics. 80/20 cotton/poly batting. Completely machine stitched, by me. Measures: 34.5" W. x 42" L.

Fabric sources were: Walmart, ebay, and thrift store. The cars fabric was made in 2004, and this is the last of my cars fabric...until I get lucky again while thrifting!

Disclaimer: There are barely noticeable fabric flaws (slightly heavier strands of thread) in the stripe print on the front of the quilt as well as on the cars fabric on the back - nothing that that "special little grandson, son, godson or nephew" would notice though. :-) And it definitely won't affect the durability or longevity of the quilt.

The completed quilt has been washed. Suggested care: washing in warm water with mild soap, and machine or line drying.

Smoke-free, cat friendly environment.

This is really cool and nice. My cousins husband is a firefighter and his son is such a boy he'd love this. How long do these take to make? I would love to bid on a skeleton or Halloween style one for my son.

Thanks! I can probably complete one this size in a few days depending on how busy my day is otherwise. I did have a lot of pumpkin/fall/Halloween prints but not sure if I do anymore. I'll check...am getting ready to move later this week.

That's cool. No rush on the one for my son. It would be for his birthday November 1st. He is really more into scary stuff but used with the other ones you might have would be nice. Maybe we could do a get it now then. I have no problem paying five bucks for shipping.
