The listing, 1932 Bernard Pothast, "Noonday Meal." Original Magazine Print has ended.
This Modern Day Dutch Master (1882-1966)
is renown for paintings with mother and children.
This one is unique as it depicts subjects who appear to represent sisters sans a mother figure.
Last pic shows the flipside of this print.
The previous four pics show the corners, which have endured the most wear of the last 80 years.
Color is mellow. paper is yellowed some, but not faded.
Very collectible and suitable for framing
even if you are not a Dutch Masters' style fan,
Bernard Pothast fan, Netherlander, or 80 years old.
This would be a tremendous addition to a nursery or kitchen, or a gift from one sister to another.
