Because it's a prepaid phone, I immagine if you put the sim card from another service carrier into this one, it would work. But I won't promise you anything, because I'm not for sure.

I'm not sure how to answer that, idk personally, but I found this comment in the customer reviews about this phone:
I've had my phone for at least a year and I have been able to take and send pictures, text, play games and have access to the internet through Crickets mobile web. When I'm not at my computer, I can send and receive emails on my phone and even go on Facebook and Google. Really is a great phone for those that don't want to spend a ton of money on a smartphone and the big monthly bill of data charges.

I believe any. Its been a while since I used it. They don't have good reception where I am. But I know I used like 2 different ones on it, with no problems at all. I don't believe its a smart phone, so you could do a cheaper plan I'm sure.

Can you use this as a plan at the cricket store or is it strickly prepaid? How much is the prepaid card for this & how many mins, etc do you get???? Any & all info you can give me about the prepaid plan would be greatly appreciated cause I am looking to use the 25 dollars cricket prepaid plan where you get all the text & talk for 25, but I am thinking with this phone its gona take a 40 or 50 dollar prepaid card for all the text & talk??? After you give me the info, I will bid, & I have enough credits to get this for sure, so I WILL PROB TAKE THE PHONE FOR SURE IF YOU CAN GET ME THE INFO WITHIN THE TIME, I think there is only one day left to bid! Well its not a smartphone, so I think you can do the cheaper plans. You can probablygo onto the cricket website and get your answers there. I will look myself and let you know what I find out as soon as I do =)
