I just like the alligator clips lined. I've gotten a couple of them that we're pretty thin and they broke. Keeps hair from pulling also. This is beautiful. Dainty.

I usually line half, but I would be happy to fully line, or line half with a non slip silicone sleeve on the other if you have an issue with fine hair.
