no its not made from human hair, avon's ponytails were made from "Modacryllic" ... I looked it up. Just letting you all know because if it were human you could dye it, bleach it, curl it, straighten it, but with it being made of a material related to plastic, you could not use chemical dyes or heated styling appliances on it.
