They are quick growers that reward you with gorgeous white flowers in the fall when most other plants are finished blooming. This is an excellent addition to your garden or patio. It will stay a compact tree or can be grown as a bonsai. Succulent care is similar to cactus plants. They store water in their swollen stem called a caudex and like full sun.

Yes, it is outstanding. An important thing to know is to watch out for the thorns!

They need to rest. Allow them to go dormant in their off season in order that the plant will flower. Lots of folks don't do this and then wonder where the heck are the blooms?

As soon as you see the leaves start to yellow, STOP watering. The young ones will die when watered too late in their season. Start light watering in the spring.
