The listing, global warming has ended.
Description: Many claim excessive heat buildup will
destroy the earth.
As Christians, we God appointed humanity to be the steward of this world (Genesis 1:28), not the destroyer of it
However, we should not allow environmentalism to become a form of idolatry.Christians should respond to global poverty and hunger with action. Of course, prayer for those in need is something every Christian can do. Beyond that, Christians should do all they can to alleviate the suffering caused by global poverty and hunger. Jesus said, “Sell your possessions and give to the poor. . . . For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Luke 12:33-34). Like Tabitha, we should “always [be] doing good and helping the poor” (Acts 9:36).
The believer who selflessly gives to the poor will be blessed by God. “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, / and he will reward him for what he has done” (Proverbs 19:17). These divine blessings may be spiritual rather than material, but a reward is guaranteed—giving to the poor is an investment in eternity.“The poor you will always have with you” (Matthew 26:11). That being the case, we have unlimited opportunities serve the Lord by serving others,
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations.
For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,
