esn is electronic serial number, if it is bad you cant activate phone, reasons for bad is lost stolen or unpaid phone bill

The serial number is only for the phone holder. I have spoken with a sprint worker just to make sure it was ok to give it out. Not a good idea for someone other then the owner of the phone to have serial number for personal reasons. I do not want to give it out because the person who may win it may not want other ppl to have it.
